“What is your favorite holiday tradition? Mine is the Christmas tree. In 2006, on a blistering cold morning in Glen Haven, Colorado my mom requested the family to get bundled up, strap on our snow shoes, and go cut down a Christmas tree. Begrudgingly, we all set out on our forced Christmas adventure. What started out as a bad attitude, turned into my all time favorite Christmas holiday tradition. We laughed until our cheeks hurt as we took turns using a hand saw made for twigs to cut down a 9 foot Christmas tree.
Now that I have my own family, and we develop our own Christmas traditions, it is even that much more special and memorable. I look forward to that special evening when my wife, the kids, and I can decorate the tree. It is something that I cherish and that I look forward to each year.
I want everybody to have the opportunity to own a Christmas tree and build wonderful family memories. There are many factors that prevent people from getting a real tree up in your own home, but I want to help you overcome those hurdles. I cannot wait to help you, your family, and your friends build special holiday traditions around your very own Christmas tree."
